Who We Are

The Nordic Racers is a group of about 280 cross-country skiers of all skiing abilities, from beginners to competitive racers. Some ski for recreation, some ski for fitness, some ski for competition.

We practise all forms of nordic skiing, mainly classic and skating with occasional opportunities for telemark and backcountry.

We're based in and around Vancouver, Canada.

Learning with us? We generally use NCCP- or CANSI-certified coaches. Sometimes we use on-snow video analysis.

Our club belongs to Cross Country B.C., the provincial sports governing body.

We organize a few weekend loppet trips every year, help run the Holly Burn race, and do the timing for the Cascade Cup.

Goal/Mission

To provide support and guidance so that members achieve their skiing potential.

To provide guidance and opportunities for members to achieve their goals as competitive athletes, race officials and/or coaches/instructors.
