Eligibility

Must be a member in good standing of a CCBC/CCC club (2006-2007). Skiers not belonging to a CCBC/CCC club can purchase a Day of Race License from the Nordic Racers Ski Club.

Race Entry Forms

Register online before February 18th for $5 OR register in person at Manning Park for $8 on February 18th.

Waiver Forms

An Event Participant Waiver Form must be signed during payment and bib pick up on Sunday morning registration.

Payment

$8 in person on day of race, or $5 online in advance. Refunds will be given if race is cancelled.

All racers must have a trail ticket (not included in the race fee). Note for skiers taking the Manning Park Bus: a trail ticket is provided with your bus ride.

Start Lists

Mass start; team selection is by random draw on day of race.

Bib Pickup / Registration

Bib pickup at start / finish line on day of race.

Awards

Great draw prizes! — including dinner for two at the Boathouse Restaurant!

Concession

Bistro, Dining Room and Pub at Pinewoods Lodge.

The race will have a water station.

Facilities

Washrooms in Lodge. Note: the hot tubs are only available for registered guests of the resort this year.

Waxing

Waxing room available at Nordic Centre. Outside waxing outlets with sufficient electrical power for waxing purposes are available around the Resort. Fluorocarbon application NOT allowed indoors.

A waxing station will be available for the race.

Wax Testing

Wax testing allowed on course prior to start of race.

Race Course

Approximately 2 km course, to be completed a total of 6 times (3 times for each skier). Start / finish / tag zone is on the training grid in front of the cabins and next to the newly re-located Nordic Centre. Includes a significant hill climb.
